2023 Danny Boy Scholars
Jayani is an Eighth Grade honor roll student at Sister Thea Bowman. It was recommended that she take Honors Algebra this year.
Kevin is in the 7th grade at Sister Thea Bowman. He is an honor roll student with a 3.45 GPA, He won 1st place in the All-School Spelling B this year.
Kaila is in the 7th grade at Sister Thea Bowman with a 3.6 GPA She is an excellent student who excels in creative writing.
Raven is an 8th grader at Sister Thea Bowman. She works hard academically and has a 3.9 GPA. She has struggled a bit with math but attended summer school to improve in this.
Tori is also in the 8th grade at Thea Bowman. She currently has a 2.7 GPA but is working hard to bring up her math and science grades.
Antoine is a Senior at Althoff High School in Belleville. He takes several accelerated classes maintaining a 3.0 GPA
Jailah will be a Sophomore at Althoff Catholic High School in Belleville. She struggled a bit her Freshman year but has made marked improvement in math and English.
Jai is a Sophomore at Gibault Catholic High School in Waterloo IL He takes advanced classes in Spanish, Biology, Civics and Algebra.
Quentin- Is a senior at Cardinal Ritter College Prep. He continues to do well academically and participates in several sports His grade point is 3.5.
Edgar is a Senior at Bishop DuBourg High School. He has had to work hard to get his GPA up to 2.5. He currently sees himself going to Junior college to pursue an Associates in Criminal Justice with a goal of going into law enforcement.

Richard is a Freshman at Lutheran North. He does well in school especially in reading and English language arts. Those are a few of his favorite subjects. He gets good grades mostly b’s. He struggles a little in math but works with tutors to keep math grade up. He ran track for Our Lady of Guadalupe School for 5 years. He’s been a member of East St. Louis family center boys clubs for a few years. During the summer he participates in the books and bicycle riding club in St. Louis

Congratulations Jesus Montes!

Jesus Montes, a Danny Boy graduate of St Mary’s High School and Blackburn College is now a proud member of the St Louis Metropolitan Police Department. Jesus graduated from the Police Academy August 3, 2018. We’re very proud of him.
